Surpriseeeeeeeee!

Instead of going to Kesia's for the weekend like mentioned in the previous posts..


Mommy called me and said, "Pack your bags. Mommy, Jessie, and Kari are going to see Oprah!" 
My first thought: OMG. I haven't been to Chicago in FIVE YEARS. Holyyy cow.
So, I, of course..Got out my suitcase, and started a'packing. :) Mom did get to see Oprah, but while she was at Harpo Studios..Me and Papi..
-Went and had brunch at Wishbone.
-Went shopping.
-Went to the Shedd Aquarium.


Then..We met back up with the crew and went to Wishbone for an afternoon snack [The Mac-N-Cheese is fantastic..For those of you if you ever are on Washington Ave. in Chicago..] :)


Then we dropped off Uncle Jessie [Thaaaaaaaaaaat's my maaaan! :)] and headed back to Rachael and Kari's place..And did nothing for the rest of the evening. Ha! Although, we had some fantastic pizzas from Trader Joes, watched some lovely Glee re-runs, and snoozed. Haha. 
This morning, we got up..Rachael and Kari went on a few studies, but me, Mommy, Papi, and Uncle Jessie went and had a lovely brunch at Lou Mitchell's [if you would like to eat here..MAKE RESERVATIONS. You will not believe how big of a difference this makes. If not..You'll end up outside of the resturaunt waiting for a loooooong while..], but it was some great food. 


After that..Uncle Jessie and Papi dropped me and Mommy off downtown and we shopped..[And to be honest, of all the hundreds of times I have came to Chicago, I have only like went shopping downtown, ONCE. Terrible, right?] We only had time to go to H&M, Tiffany's [ooh-la-freaking-la], and XXI Forever...[Aka, FOREVER 21..] The sign here, actually says, "XXI Forever"..So adorable. But the reason we didn't have enough time to shop 'til we dropped is because..


Rachael and Kari, being the total sweethearts they are..Decided to kidnap just me for the rest of the day..Annnnd, took me to a High Tea at The Ritz Carlton on E. Peirson..Oh. My. Goodness. [Ah-mazing.] It was one of the greatest experiences ever. So fancy, peaceful, and shabby chic. I totally recommend it for a "Girl's Day Out"..I had Bombay Chai tea..They also bring you a 3-tiered platter with many treats..Finger Sandwiches, Pastries, and Biscuits. So lovely. 
And after that, we went to Skydeck Chicago..Oooh..Amazingness..


Anyway..I'm just chilling in my bed..Thinking about how tomorrow is our last day..So brunch in the morning and then last minute treks around town to get a few more pictures..:)


I am happy to say that I've had an amazing Spring Break 2011.

P.S..@ Kesia..Thank you for my lovely shout-out :) I love you girl, and I totally miss you too. Annnd..I can't wait til our AMAZING trip up here this summer. IT. WILL. HAPPEN. :D

Ah! I'm so sorry I haven't blogged since Mondayy, I've just been crazy busy! With a few interesting experiences as well..You'll hear about those later on :)

Anyways, these past two days really have been wanting Summer..Me and Mom have been coming up with Vaycay Ideas lately..One place I've came up with is the Outerbanks in NC. Its so gorgeous up theree, I also want to go out west, like Utah and stuff. And she also wants to go to Santa Rosa like we did last July. Oh, and Destin..The annual trip with Dana, Laurie, Claire, Cameron, and two of Cameron's friends..Haha. Its always a blast.And just in general I get to sleep whenever I want. Stay up as late as I want. Its just great. 


Anyway, the past week..
In a nutshell, 
the past week has been crazy. 
I've been crazy busy with school, projects, and just trying to exceed in life in general. 
I was in Gadsden Sunday morning through Monday night. Went back to school yesterday, and before I know it; Its Thursday nearly. Time is flying by, but I can't say I don't like it. Cause I would be lying. I'm so darn tired of Middle School. I'm ready for Summer and High School because I'm one more year closer to being free. Free from peer pressure, drama, mean teachers, and waking up at 6am everyday.

Why? Well. I have been fantasizing about Australia lately. Oh and imagining what I would sound like if I had an Australian accent..[I like my 'Faux-Aussie-Accent'...Waaay better than my English one..]


So..I'm gonna do a little..."_____ is.." thingy-mabob real quick.


Australia is...

• Where the toilets flush the opposite way they do here in the states.
• Where quite a few Kangaroos live. [Love the Roo-Babies]
• Where all the men have those 'to-die-for' accents.
• Where the waters are always gorgeous.
• Where everyone calls 'cookies', 'biscuits'.
• Where there are 10,000+ beaches. [That right there is, clean, pure, proof this place is heaven.]
• Where Aboriginal Art was started..[Boy, oh boy..Do I love this stuff? Its so neat.]
• Where I want to visit one day.

Anyone else wanna visit Australia?

I just want to experience the such different culture..And I really want to hear the Lingo..In person. I'd also like to be able to say I have been "Down Under"..Haha, I love it!

That time we got 'Cabin Fever'..

Definition of Cabin Fever- When you are stuck in a house in the mountains because of snow and cannot do a thing. 

Well, as you know -from my previous post- I was in Gatlinburg Christmas weekend..And boy, was it interesting. 

Lets just make this short. I almost DIED from Cabin Fever. Seriously. We were running out of things to do..And it kinda sorta pretty much basically..

Sucked.

Well. Its been 22 days since my last blog and I have to say, I have been very, very sad that I have not been able to blog any. 

• First of all, my computer got a Trojan Horse Virus on it, soooooo. Yeah. I couldn't use it. I almost died.
• Theeeeen, it was time for me to go to Nana and Papa Rob's house and I took Daddy's computer, buuuut it wouldn't connect to the internet..I almost died again.
• Annnnd lastly, I went to Gatlinburg for Christmas Weekend and we didn't have a computer that. Annnnnnd I almost died. 

So. How was Gatlinburg?

Oh. Wow.

Well, we knew that there would be snow, but before we left Gadsden..The forcast was ONLY 1-2 inches. And how many inches did we wake up with on Saturday morning? 6. YES. 6 INCHES. And being the un-prepared family we were..The car we had had no 4WD OR CHAINS. We were officially snowed in for the day. Ugh. It sucked. But I can say we did have a nice time playing in the snow and all. 

We....

Built a crappy snowman.

Had an amazing snowball fight. Everyone was included. (HA!)

Made snow-angels.

Grilled out.

Me and Claire flooded out bathroom with the whirlpool.

Took great pictures.

Played Charades soooo soooo sooo many times. Lol. 

-The hilarious thing about this is the fact that me and Claire were a team and then Laurie and Dana played too...Some of the things me and Clare did..

Pretended to be an elephant.

The Titanic scene where Jack holds Rose up on the front of the ship.

We were lions.
I was the mother and she was the child.
So. Charades was great.


And the list continuess...
We watched Titanic.
Took naps while 16&Pregnant was on.
Annnd some other fun things too(:

Soo..I have not blogged since the 22nd of November. And I am soo soo soooo sorry about that, because I really do love blogging. Even though there are only like 5 people who keep up. *DepressedFace*

Anywho, I have traveled quite a bit actually..And done many things the past week..? Yea its been a little over a week.
Examples...

• Went to Cade's Cove in the Great Smokey Mountains!
• Got hit by a Waste Management Truck
• Went to Gadsden
• Saw the Special Assembly Day for the 2nd time in Bessemer, Al.
• Annnnd, many other things that I can't really think of right now.

But, I am gonna do a blog for just about all those events. Tonight. I promise..!
